Natural gas tests new frontiers in price and production
The rapid growth of natural gas as a preferred power-generating fuel has changed market dynamics, experts said. Stronger summer demand reduces the opportunity for utilities to buy lower-priced natural gas in the summertime, store it, and use it later in the year to meet winter demand and balance pipeline transportation capacity.
